Been Bored Lately....so i have decided to create and sell

Even though i have some backstitch left to do on that bookmark. I've been quite bored. Just stuck on the computer all the time or watching telly really.
Been Reading a trashy Jilly cooper novel also. I have never read her before, but i was looking for a different author to read. I bought that book and some others at a book fair in town a few weeks ago. I haven't read a good book in a while. Been doing all that stitching i suppose.

Today, to stop my boredom of doing time killing things such as going on facebook a lot, but fair play i never play farmville i refuse to go on there.
Well i have decided to make and sell things. Just out of the blue like that.
I bought beads and charms, headpins and eyepins etc, to make things such as mobile phone charms. yes i had some tools as well
I think i will stick with mobile phone/bag charms at the moment, i will then start making things like wine glass tags/charms and bookmarks. and also sell handmade cards too one day.
oh and i will be creating cross stitch charms too. just to use the bits of aida i got left over and don't know what to do with. i hope i can use aida, but i think it maybe will not be strong enough unlike plastic canvas.

Maybe on ebay or etsy i will call my shop 'I cell phone key charms' I sell funky charms, haha get it? ok a bit sad hahaha maybe something like 'Wine glass charms' will be better.

Oh well i hope to recieve my package on saturday, yep the lovely lady is very fast. I don't mind it coming on monday though, give me a little more time to think of ideas etc.
I hope i can get into it, i want to be more creative than i am as these days i can only go from instructions, and not able to get ideas of my own.

I might even then when i make different things i can have workshop days and each workshop day i will make something different to the previous day.
who knows i may make a business out of it i may not. Depends on how it goes........

My Latest Little Finish

This was quick to do, A mother's day design from cross stitch collection, an issue from back in the 90's i think!

The colours look lighter in real life, so i'm not fussy on it, i rather it look like what it shows in the magazine.

I'm still doing the bookmark, well i havent picked it up for days. i only got the backstith to do really. I know i'm going to need so iron on interfacing to go on the back of it. The latest winnie the pooh kits from designer stitches doesn't have anything for the back of them.

And i am chuffed today as Wales has beaten Italy in the rugby today! YESSSSSSS!!!!

A Change for me, Postie day!!

Postie day!! I recieved these, from a stitchy Facebook friend called Allison. Though i know her from a stitchy forum from years ago.
She bought these unfinished winnie the pooh works off ebay. When she recieved them she didn't fancy finishing them off as the stitches was going in the other direction from what she does.
So when she was giving them away on facebook, i said i do them, meaning the direction is the ones i do. But now i find that she does the stitches the way i do them so anyway i don't mind doing them that way. Our stitches go like / and then over the top arm \ the one in the works go the other way around.

the pooh, piglet and butterflies on the right is an actual finished one already. but all the stitches go in all sorts of directions in this one. So i think i might give this one to aunty Jane and her stitch for charity organisation, i will put it in a package when i do my bit for Hanny's Hearts of love blankets this year, when i get some kind of time!

I think i should be able to finish off The Tigger bookmark this weekend.
But in this kit, theres no backing or tassel or anything. The earlier Designer stitches kits have them but not the later ones.
so I don't think i will add a tassle but something for a backing will be nice, white ribbon or maybe even is it called iron on interfacing?
Maybe i will have my first wish on the san man board soon then, as i have never made a wish on there before.
Not forgetting i'm thinking of doing another bookmark, so i might need a bit more.

Oh yeah Wales lost this weekend too to france. So i had to take my flag down from the Window in Shame. :0(

An Eventful Weekend.

My First ever San Man originals Stitched and my first finish of 2010.
A valentines card,, this took me ages to do. well what seemed like ages. The half stitches were quite fiddly.
I have left out the Backstitched stars as i thought it might be too much as i want the design to focus on the hearts and i done this on 16 count aida so i thought it may be a bit to much anyway if i added them. not because i was too lazy to do them or that i could do the french knots. I can do french knots haha.
The card is a lighter colour than it shows on here so you can see the red more.
Anyway i finished it yesterday. and he loved it!

Still stitching the other what i said i'm stitching. I;m stitching a bookmark for him too. Thats not finished yet, that will take a few days.
I done some while watching the Wales v Scotland match. Oh i'm so glad we won in the end. Rubbish game but well done Wales for getting there in the end!
Saturday it was our anniversary, as well. yes and we watched that match. He bought me a bunch a red roses, they're gorgeous! I suppose they were for saturday and valentines day.
I was over the moon!

Sunday, i went to a car boot sale, haven;t been to it for a while. I didn't get much. I bought some top trump cards as the other half collects them.
God knows how many packets of them he got. But the ones i had for him were really old ones.
In the Mirror paper this week, they're giving away Top trump cards. you have to go to WHSmith to collect the box.
So i done this on sunday as well. I had to go there twice as it didnt open until 11am!
But anyway i put over the voucher for the top trumps box, it was a piece of card!! i thought it would've been a plastic case! you have to pop out the piece of card and fold it to make it into a box. well they could've put this in the paper with the cards. That really annoyed me that did.

When we got back i finished my san man valentines card at last. Cooked sunday dinner, watched 2 adam sandler films. 50 first dates i enjoyed. Then Click came on and that was a load of rubbish. i won't be watching that one again.

There's Just not enough Hours in the day.....

No picture today. Been stitching, stitching and stitching.
only when i'm on my own though as i'm doing some valentines stitching.

i got 2 things on the go. One i have to use the chart from the computer screen as i got no printer ink at the moment, and by the time i order ink and it arrives i probably done the chart by then. and i got another one luckily this ones a kit so the chart is inside it.

It's also our anniversary tommorrow(saturday). Anniversary of how long we have been together that is.
5 years!!! Gone so quick.......

So hows this, how can i finish these 2 things, mount and put them together. and spend time with him for our anniversary. These really need to be finished by sunday don't they???

A little bit of what i done in January....

Done most of eeyore. you can't really see the white stitches on here, but i have done loads. and i got loads left to do, at the moment i'm fed up of stitching white. i'm not going to do any other colours on this one until i tackled a lot more white. otherwise i will be left doing the white at the end.
also i got to undo the pooh scarf as i havent got enough of that colour. i can't find it in my DMC thread collection either. and i got all of DMC normal colours anyway. On the chart it doesnt give me the DMC thread number i need.
and designer stitches have gone out of business so i can't complain to them that theres not enough cotton in my kit. but however i got to stitch with the nearest colour now.

This weekend done some stitching while watching the Wales and england match. To which sadly Wales lost. At least i had some stitching done on row of love heehee.

Getting on with a UFO.......

I have had this kit for years. A row of love by dimensions is such a lovely design.

I haven't stitched on it for a long long time. Now this week i am back onto it!

It looks a lot smaller in this scan than in real life.

I have even washed it as it looked grubby. But then disaster has come and some of the thread colour had run, so i will have to sort that out. It says what to do if the colour does run on the back of the chart.

A Lot of stitching, but not enough Blogging!!

Well it's been since summer i haven't blogged. Time flys!!

I don't know why i haven't been blogging, i think facebook takes over my life a bit, and i have been doing quite a bit of ebaying over the christmas.

Well here is my lastest finished piece of stitching i can show you.

From a christmas issue of a Cross stitch card shop magazine.

on 14 count aida with green sparklybits in it. I don't know the name of the company its from!

I made this for a friend and her family. They loved it, after a took a picture i had put a big gold bow on the corner, it had set it off really well.

A Snowman, I think this is from a Cross stitch card shop magazine as well.

Done on 14 count aida. See the Rainbow sparkly bits in this one?

This was for the In-laws.

A Thomas the tank Birthday Card for our friends Son's first Birthday. They have nicknamed their son 'The Tank'. So i just had to make this one.

Chart for this is taken out from one of Gillian Souter's Storybook favourites in cross stitch book.

It is part of the thomas the tank sampler.

This one is the Autobot from Transformers. How cool is that???
I done this for my other half, he loved it! This is a free pattern online.
I am hoping the dicepticon will be available for him for his next birthday.

I have some more stitching i done over the christmas to show you. I will take photo's soon.
So this side of the year i have been stitching on Winnie the pooh 'snowmen' kit. I have found out that i haven't got enough thread for winnie the pooh's scarf in this, and i can't find the colour in the DMC collection and i got most colours.
So looks like i will have to undo what i have done of his scarf and use the nearest colour.
I would've contacted the makers, Designer stitches for more thread but they're out of business.

But i have been doing lots of the snowy stitches on there, as theres lots, but i had got a bit fed up of stitching the white.
I done plenty of it, but i know if i start stitching another colour on it at the moment, the snow will be still there for me to do at the end.

So this week i have put winnie the pooh away and i have my Row of love project out.
I have had this kit started years ago, and i can't wait to have it finished.
I have promised myself until i have finished one of these larger projects, i can then start on another large project. There's plenty i would like to do.

Finally i have added the writing 'Red Rum' like i wanted on sunday, father's day. So i gave this to my dad straight away! He's thrilled with it. all i want to do now is find a suitable frame for it, i think i would like a boarder mount for it as well.
Dad didn't go to his trip on sunday after. The bus didn't turn up! Dad and his friend were there on time at least 5 mins before they were there for a full half hour waiting.
So when my dad's friend complained apparently the bus was there. Well just saying he was there, but actually was he there?
Anyway done some more on my WIP and i have done some colour mixing also called tweeding on it, quite a pain in the backside!

Father's Day

Here is the Father's day card i finished yesterday. From last years Cross Stitch card shop magazine. It was quite quick to do.

I was going to put this into a aperture card. i picked out the suitable colour out of the pack. When i go to unfold the card to put my stitching in, it was all stuck together!

How, i do not know it was stuck as like i normally would stick them but with the stitching in of course. But this had no stitching in it, and it was still in with the other cards as if it hadn't been touched.

I tried to pull it apart but it was way too sticky. It was a light green colour card anyway. why it was stuck without anything in it i don't know. So the blue looks quite fine to me now.

Anyway, he has had this early as i won't see him on sunday until about 7pm.
He will be off on a trip with his friend to the Brecon beacons in Wales.

So i am to cook the dinner again. We will be having beef dinner by the looks of things.

Well here is some more progress on Margaret Sherry Horse. Been doing some right side of the background. Sorry about the pic, i hate where the hoop makes a ring too.

Hello all, well its been so long i didn't realise! These days just fly by....
We've had nice weather and some days have been horrible.
Well we have had more good news on our stuff, but havent really been able to get back for it. The Landlord has been lying he said to the lady who is helping us that we have not been evicted,lol. Doesn't mean we're going back there though.
But he also says our stuff is still in our room. but now we're just waiting on a man and a van. Hopefully everything will be there.
If nothing is there, lady said we can go to the police.

Anyway, back to the stitching. I havent done much, apart from the past few days. Done some on my MS horse and started on a father's day card.

June Goals:

Fathers Day card~Started
Add a bit of writing on red rum project.
Carry on with MS Horse.
Start something else or carry on with a different WIP or UFO.

Hi all, thank you to the stitchers who have wished me a Happy birthday!!

well as i didn't do much on my birthday the next day was quite productive.
We fancied a cooked breakfast. So we decided to go to the cafe down the road as they always have the offer of a cooked breakfast.
well would you believe it! It was closed. out of all the times we pass there everyday and its open. it had to be closed when we fancied something!
Well, anyway we still fancied this darn breakfast. So we decided to walk further down the road and try the pub. Was there breakfast there?? no!
So we decided to have steak dinner each. well we only had to spend a little more to get a free bottle of wine. we didn't fancy any side orders so had some chocolate indulgence ice cream.
The wine was quite nice actually.

Coming home i knew i shouldn't have gone down this little hill, i wasn't tipsy or anything, for some reason i didn;t fancy going down this hill. I had only 2 glasses of wine a one of the alcho pops. But this was the only shortest route.
Going down this hill, i slipped somehow my left foot touched my bum and the right leg went on top of that leg, so kind of hurt!
was quite upset as not often i fall, and the last time i fell was down a few steps, which hurt!
But after this fall it didn't hurt for long, but in the night it did and i can still feel it now.

Well today had some news, a reply from the people helping with our housing and getting our stuff back from that ex-landlord of ours.
She has sent us a copy of the letter she has sent to him. She has said that we don't want to go back living there due to that we will not be pursuing any breaches of the landlord and tenant act 1985 against him.
She has also wrote that we have asked for our stuff that were in the rooms to be returned. and that if he could write to her so then can arrange collection of our goods then she will get back to us.
This letter was dated the 12th may. so not sure if it was sent to him on that date. But sure she should get a reply from him this week or the next. hopefully she will recieve it one day shes in the office to make things go a bit faster if she hasn't already had it.
She also must have typed out what she wrote of what we told her what has happened as this was also in the letter. There is a few other acts he has breached we can have him for, but i think we will do that after recieving our stuff.
This has been such a long wait a few weeks maybe. But i'm just glad its now on the move!!
Lets hope we have more luck now.
So now next after recieving our stuff back maybe we can get a place. well silly to get a place if we haven't got stuff otherwise we will be bored haha.
So i'm happy happy happy just hearing that as i haven't heard from them since we went there for help. Will keep you updated on this.

Hello all, well its my birthday today. Happy with lots of birthday wishes on facebook, cards, pressies and money. =) other than that a bit boring really lol. it is normally like that though with me.
only my partner was in work most of the day. but he's got the day off tommorrow so will spend more time together. i was a bit tired today anyway.

Started on the little winnie the pooh kit on the weekend. haven't finished it today as well was tired.
other than that, nothing much more happened over the weekend.

My friend Stella & i have challenged each other this weekend. I have to finish my horse and she has to finish her san man. haha! we email each other most weekdays when i have my computer.

Was quite busy the past 2 days. Got rid of some stuff in my bedroom, didn't know i had so much rubbish.
and i made dinner. we had Hock (cold ham) with new potatoes, peas a parsley sauce, yummy!

Hello all, hope you're all well. Sorry if you been coming by and theres been nothing posted.
Been having quite a stressful time the past few weeks.

My partner and i have been up my parents to visit a while. We are still here. do you know why?
The Landlord has thrown us out of our place! No Notice of eviction or anything! yes we got to sign an eviction notice, which we haven't seen any let alone sign one.
Just a text, a text to say he has ended our tenancy. he says we didn't text him back before, which we have and we have evidence a text report to say he has recieved it with dates and everything.
one of the girls who live there phoned my partner to ask us where we were cos someone moved in to our room. and then another girl confirmed that.

So as for our stuff and belongings we do not know where it is. To move our stuff he has to have a court order. No sign of that either.

Since we found out we have not been in touch with the Landlord. As we're quite upset with him at the moment and don't really want to meet him ever again.

The next week after this happened (as my partner has had some work) we went to the citizens advice bureau.
Didn't have to queue as the woman at the desk said that what he done is illegal and she has given us a few leaflets and and give us a place to go to for help.
where we went for help is called Shelter. They help with people who are threatened with eviction. well bonus for us as we didn't even have a threat.

As she is only in her office twice a week. We met her on the thursday at this hall in town.
She said she is going to send a letter to the Landlord to try and get our things back.
If he doesn't give our things back, then it goes to a small claims court. But i don't want to really do that as i'm not a money grabber like Landlord is.
So i emailed her on the friday as she asked for a list f what he should have. As i don't know how specific that list supposed to be, i'm waiting for an answer.
There was bank holiday on monday, so she wasn't in on her normal day. and she is supposed to be there today, no reply for the email yet. also she has given us directions on where to go on housing lists and help etc.

At the moment, my partner is in spain with work so i let the woman know about that as well.
He should be back this weekend anyway.
oh how i hope thinsg will work out faster. at least then we know if we got our stuff back then theres one less thing to worry about and then find another place.
At least mum is having a break from my partner being around. as she does moan if we stay too long. it will give us more time to get ourselves a place.

What a nightmare this year is so far.

other than that i have been stitching here and there, but not as much as normal. Been worrying too much about things.

Easter Card

A Lot of you liked my Last years Easter card. This one is from the same set. From last years Easter Cross stitch card shop magazine. soooo cute!!

This one i made for my parents. I done it in a bit of a rush, i couldn't find the right stuff i wanted to make it into a better card.

No wonder i'm not getting to finish Red rum lol. just a few stitches and then the backstitch on that to do.

First Post for April

Here is the first picture of april, still on Red rum as you can see. i havent done much, but it seems to be progressing quite well, i was hoping to finish it this weekend, but i'm not sure if i can.
The colours here and there are a pain and taking much longer, as i'm having to find what goes where.

April Goals so far:

Finish Red rum horse
Go back to stitching on Margaret Sherry's winter horse (haven't done any on that for ages).

The past few days have been lovely and warm. when i took the dog for a walk yesterday. I met this lady i know. She gave me a load of Card making items quite a few months back. well everytime i see her, she wants me to make cards so i can sell them in her shop.
She sells cards and i think card making items too.
But i'm not that confident at card making. But i have stitched a card for her last easter. I think thats what refering to in me making cards. I'm just wondering if it will take up too much time or will it will be worth the money. anyway, she said i can send some over anytime. But i think i will give it a bit more thought first. it would be good, the money during this Credit crunch i suppose, and the ones i dont sell i could put on ebay or give to charity.

End of March update.

Heres the latest finish i have now put it into a card for my parents anniversary.
The scan of it here, doesnt do it any justice! doesnt even look straight, haha. but it is straight really, and much better looking than this scan.
quite proud of it actually, looks a bit better than my last 2.

I've done quite a bit more on my horse as well on the weekend. nearly finished the horse and jockey bit at the bottom. I think it will be finished before i know it.
I will upload a wip pic of it tommorrow.
I think when i finished this i will continue Margaret sherry's winter horse design. so cute! I haven't worked on it for ages. but i have done less than i thought on it when i looked at it earlier.

Well when i was going through some things earlier you should have seen my face. I found something i'm pretty sure i sent it off months ago. obviously i didn't cos its still here! she didnt notify me that she didnt recieve it. It was her RR. I had it a long time as i wasn't able to get hold of her. and eventually i did. and then this! i was shocked when i saw this,lol. oh well i will have to post it soon.

Its been nice and sunny all weekend but now to the start of the week its freezing!
Well, over the weekend i mounted the other mothers day card. and i started the daffodils for my parents anniversary and i finished it yesterday. i think i will put it on some blue card.
I've also started doing the bottom piece (the jockey and horse bit) of the red rum project as i was getting a bit fed up of different colours everywhere on the other part, but shall get back to that soon. My ORT (old ragged threads) Jar is getting fuller and fuller now lol.

Well it took a while to decorate the card. Don't ask! i just couldn't find things and the stamp didnt work well.
Not really that happy about this one. something missing on it and i don't know what. But happy with the stitched part of it.
and now its in the post off to the partner's mum.

Now to decorate and add the other flower to some card soon, just let me get over this one first,lol.

Here is a piece i'm going to put in a card for Mother's day. took me ages to find a design suitable. My first finish of 2009! This one only took me a few hours. and its from a cross stitch card shop magazine.
I find french knots quite easy to do.
I was also amazed that if you don't know how to do french knots, they show you how to do them on youtube!

I've nearly finished one for my partners mum too a design from the same magazine.

So they should both be in cards very soon, will have to put photos up!

Been doing the odd stitches here and there.
I hate it when the hoop has to lay o the stitches, they squash my stitches so bad. but they will come out in the wash and when i iron it from the back.

Well, we've had really nice weather here. Its really is like spring has come! St.patricks day was great. i had taken the dog for anice long walk and its was glorious weather, i can still feel it and its night time.

A Winning Ticket!

ok, only won £10 (GBpounds) on the lottery on saturday. went down on sunday to collect it the machines were down. Funny how you can still buy a scratchcard though. So hopefully tommorrow it will be working again.

Well if the weather is fine in the morning i will take the dog out for a good run as she didn't go out for a walk today. The weather has been horrid today and i had been doing the sunday cooking for most of the early afternoon. And trust dad to give her the bum part of the chicken when its all muddy outside. white furred dog (who like to bury things) and mud doesn't mix!

oh well at least i got some kind of stitching done this weekend, still not much though. But will put a WIP pic up tommorrow. Also thinking of doing a mother's day card, if i got the time!

Expecting some Snow.

on the weather forecast, says Wales might have some Snow, yipppeeeeee! Lets hope!

I was watching deal or no deal yesterday, i don't usually watch it. But its a coincidence cos the man in the chair is a 70 odd yr old cross stitcher! He showed on there his latest finished piece. It was a design of 4 or 5 ladies on it. As they showed it, the front looked exactly the same as the back of it! Apparently he does stitching for about 8 hrs a day. Good on him i say! Considering i'm struggling to do 2 hrs a day of it,haha!

On about that i haven't done much today, been sorting out some more threads for it as i didn't have all the ones i want for it out of my storage boxes. i thought it would be easier if i just had a few bobbins out for a while, so be easier to find what i want when i'm stitching. Now it was the time to get out all the ones i needed. I really do think i'm doing quite well on this as i havent finished a big project for a good while now.

Some more WIP.

Here he is, Red rum is coming on well. Over the months since i last put a WIP (sometime in april was it?) up of him, its been off and on stitching on him. But the past few days have done quite well. I thought to start on the background. so when i get fed up of all the different colours, i can do some of that bit instead.

Quite enjoying stitching this at the moment though. Hmmmm. i wonder if i will get it finished this year? mind you i been saying that every year......

i know i won't be able to do i everyday as i don't have the internet all the time.

I haven't done much stitching this year either. :(

But i have started on Red rum WIP again in the past few days. so i will put a WIP photo up tommorrow.

Above are the last 2 finishes from last year. One is an Angel stitchlets from mouseloft card and the other is the Reindeer from Cross stitch card shop magazine.

I'm showing my articles from magazines in anything i've been involved in with charity stitching on there, so then we know what piece is for what charity.....

Made a little Mistake

I had nearly finished Eeyore on the snowman project one. and i found i made a mistake. Thank God i don't have to undo it all, just one of his legs.
i shall have to get on with red rum project soon, but at the moment i'm into the pooh snowman project.
I also done a little angel card from Mouseloft. so when i mount it, i will obviously show you the results.
well i'm off home today. Have no pc at home, so i won't be blogging for a few weeks. but hopefully will get plenty of stitching done i could show you.
Im hoping to get cross stitch card shop magazine this weekend as it has the cute reindeer kit freebie. So i will probably have loads of stitching to show you soon.

i'm really hoping i can finish one big project by christmas.

Here are some finished projects i done when i use to go to stitching classes.
I'm quite proud of them actually! Took me while to scan them in.

and only a little bit of cross stitch in sight!

Here is some crochet. a christmas coaster.

some crochet samples here.

a bit of canvas work. made into a scissor fob.

some blackworkmade with metallic threads.

This is lovely. some hardanger work.

Here is a temari ball. I am planning of making this into a windchime. when i can get the bits!

you can also use the as christmas tree decorations or put some in a bowl to look fancy.

a bit more crochet. this is supposed to be square!

my favourite piece of crochet. i could make another one of these and make it into a bag if i wanted.

some ribbon embroidery. this is pretty. oh look so cross stitch too!

some more applique. supposed to put this together as a pin cushion.

A finish! at last he took me a few days to finish and he's only little.

But paddington is so cute!!

since i wrote here last. well i haven't done much stitching over the past couple of months. but i have nearly finished of paddington bear card from cross stitch card shop magazine.

so will hopefully show that off soon. I don't know why but the stitching is taken me a while on this one and its only little.

anyway i was pleased when i saw my dragon in cross stitch crazy magazine in the ty hafan article. actually i was amazed at the whole article. perhaps i can scan it in so people can see it.

also had a little gift from cross stitch crazy. it wasn't a stitchy item, just a keyring. don't really know why though. but its cute! here is a pic of it, but my cameras not that good. oh well hopefully i will be doing some more blogging this week. I don't have the internet all the time unfortunately.

So sorry i haven't been posting much for the past month or so. Been doing lots of stitching though! Here's one of my welsh Dragons i have finished, but i will have to add a red background to it. I'm now on my second dragon. I've fully enjoyed stitching him.

This was for an Alphabet RR i was in. I still got the RR after a couple of years cos i couldn't get hold of the lady.

And this WIP I started the Beginning of last year. Haven;'t done any of it this year yet.

I've also started on one of the welsh Dragons I'm doing for the Big dragon for Ty Hafan.

onto a card. I had a bit of a fight with the double sided tape, so i got a bit fed up with it,lol!

I was going to be quite creative with it but i know i didn't have a non aparture card to go with the design.

I've been stitching like mad! I've started to stitch a daffodil card for my parents anniversary. so keep a look out for a finish!
and i've now been getting on with Red rum too. I finally realised that the flexi hoop i was using was somehow making my stitching slower so i now tried a wooden hoop and i'm wizzing through it now,lol!
Anyway i just got all the info i need to do my design for Ty hafan welsh Dragon. I can use white aida, yipppeeeee!

Yay! i finished snoopy at last. He took a bit longer to do than i expected. The backstitch is worse than on tatty teddy! Also finished stitching for Just because exchange. will put pics up very soon.

I am sad to hear That Cross stitch designer Sheila Hudson has passed away as announced on crossstitchermagazine.co.uk. she had such nice patterns!

Hello, sorry i haven't posted for a few days again.

I've been a bit busy stitching,lol! I've started to stitch my second piece for the Just because exchange.

I had a good bargain on sunday morning at a car booty. i had 4 of the latest cross stitch magazines for 50p the lot! so i was quite happy with that.

Partner wants me to do these pooh ones for our Friends baby. I did chosse the tigger one at first then he said why not do them all.

Only a little one though. For the lady who lives down the road from me as a thank you for the card making stuff she gave me. Its one of them chick & rabbits easter cards in the latest cross stitch card shop mag. so its a thank you and an easter card all in one. should finish it tommorrow. its such a cute design and quite unusual actually.
She's a card maker. she thought cross stitch was done by a sewing machine,lol! and then i will get on doing some more for the Just because exchange as i can't decide what to do at the moment.
I always get to stitch something from cross stitch card shop. My partner complains about the price on it as it is nearly £5.00. i told him its like the BBC no adverts so you have to pay more.
well it does have a few, but not lot like others.
But i will be doing the free snoopy kit soon from it.

and the ball has started rolling for me to do my bit on Ty hafan welsh dragon. Just waiting on a rely now. so i'm happy!!!

I like writing blogs now,looks like i got a few nice comments already, thank you. as on webshots i didn't get many and comments can make you a bit more confident.

I done a finish for Just because exchange 2008 yesterday (monday). quite happy with it actually. but thing is i can't show anyone until the reveal date.
I cannot wait! well i got to find something else to do now,lol!

I decided to stitch this as i thought it would be a quick finish, he was too! i finished him today.

I love pooh & friends. I forgot i had the magazine that the kit came with. i'm not sure whati'm going to do with him yet though. i might just put him on a card. anyway i will put a photo when i've mounted him on something.

I'm doing this for my father as he's really into his horse racing. its been under my bed for a year or so. but just before christmas i got it back out again. maybe i will get it done for fathers day?

I am quite proud of this. popcorn bear is so cute! Tjis is my first finish of 2008. you never know i might do another one soon, but not this design, took me ages to do. as you probably can see, you can see some thread going across the back. i thought to myself i will have to do it this way rather than keep casting on and off as the longstitches might come undone. especially if people are going to wash the blanket.
